Organisation
The organisation of Highway Projects is made up of 4 areas. Click on each title below to read more about us.
The Core Team: The Core Team is responsible for the day to day running of Highway Projects, and make the decisions about the operation of the work.
The Support Team: This group of people is committed to a specific area of Highways work including volunteer administration, prayer, travel, and publicity & advocacy.
The Team Leaders: These group of individuals have been chosen to lead our teams of volunteers in the Middle East. They are chosen annually by the Core Team.
The Board: The Board of Highway Projects set policy and check that the organisation is financially and legally in good health.
The Board
The Highway Projects Board is currently made up of the Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary with Ian White in attendance at meetings. The Board is also advised on personnel matters by Judith Bainbridge Hamilton.
David Gundry - Chairman
David has been the Chairman of the Highway Projects Board for the last seven years, having first joined the Highway Trust in 1998. He comes from a background of business consultancy. In 2004 he joined the Israel/Palestine teams on their mission trip to see the work in action, and is a keen promoter of the work.
Colin Rawling - Treasurer
Colin joined the Board a year ago and looks after all things financial for the organisation. He is happy to receive any gifts and sponsorships for the work, is keen on standing orders and gift aided donations and can be contacted on finance@highway-projects.org
Rachael Rice - Secretary
Rachael ensures all Board meetings are minuted and actionned.
