In 2010 Highway Projects will return to Alexandria to build on the success of the work begun in 2008 in Cairo and Alexandria, and continued in 2009.

Egypt is the home of the most ancient civilisation, and a top destination for tourists; but what the tourists don’t see is the massive over crowding, poverty and social fragmentation.

The Highway Projects teams have the unique opportunity to engage with these issues and work alongside a wonderful project. Our work in Egypt was new in 2008, built on in 2009 and volunteers will enjoy the privilege of helping to continue to build up the relationships and the pioneering work there. Come and join us.

Applications for the Egypt team for 2010 are now open. Application forms are downloadable above. The cost of joining this team is £925.00 which includes flights, accomodation, internal transfers and most meals.
