Amman Youth Work, Amman

26th Aug - 10th September

Alongside its regular worship and adult activities, under the guidance of its priest, the Episcopal congregation of St. Paul’s Church, Asrafiyyeh, Amman has established a large children’s work and an active youth programme that involves regular discipleship of both teenagers and young adults. Together with the Head of the Youth Ministries programme, the Highway Projects team will work with teenage and University-age young people from various churches in the Amman area, joining in a discipleship camp, as well as being involved during the week in two local High schools. In addition there will be an opportunity to engage in the ministry to some of the local poor of Amman. The aim is to encourage and resource the Church’s work with young people. This is a great opportunity to support the small but energetic Christian community in a Muslim society.
